March 2025 New Releases

As a result of my blog not going public until after the first of March, some of these titles have already been published. But, I have not read any of these titles yet, so my desire to read them remains the same. Not all of these titles are published, but those that are have reviews and I can say that my recommendation is not influenced by them as well.

Now that that is out of the way, here is a list of my most anticipated reads for the month of March! WOO WOO! Which also happens to be the month of my birthday! (gasp!)

Alright, let’s get into the books!

OathBound

march new release

Besides the fact that the book is written by Tracy Deon and it’s from the infamous Legendborn series (just to point that out). The stakes are at an all-time high as the intensity of the other stories builds upon this one.

The magic world is wonderfully built and weaves together beautifully with Tracy’s other stories. Not to mention the love triangle as a subplot in this fantasy novel. Also, who could forget the fact that the lead is Black?! Like HELLO! I think that’s all I need to see, along with the beautiful cover.

Whitney has everything she could ever want, and this seems like the classic story about a woman who thinks life could not get any better. Until the dilemma happens, and she now has a child. and I don’t know about you guys, but I love me a good surprise kid trope.

Through the Fire

march new release

This is a small-town romance, which I love to see as it pertains to black couples. Not only that, but this seems like it could be a nice slower-burn novel, as Fallon is against falling in love with Deacon. Her new fire CAPTAIN, might I add? I can see the internal dilemma as I’m writing this. Who doesn’t want to see that?

Published: March 6, 2025

Blurb: Fallon Lennox moves to Lovey’s Bay for a fresh start, not romance—especially not with her new fire captain, Benjamin Deacon. But when they realize they’ve met before, sparks fly. While Deacon is ready to take a chance on love, Fallon is determined to keep her distance.

As they battle undeniable chemistry and professional boundaries, will they find common ground? or will their chance at love go up in flames? A sizzling, emotional romance about second chances, trust, and leaping.

Fire on Ice

march new release

I love a good sports romance, but this book brings me memories of one of my favorite movies, Just Wright. Quite a controversial take, but I absolutely adore that movie, and I am so excited to see how this will differ and hopefully bring the same feeling.

Published: March 5, 2025

Blurb: Skylar Lewis has spent her life in the shadow of professional hockey, forging her path as the DC Eagles’ lead sports therapist. Her golden rule? Never get involved with a player. But when star goalie Tavon Harris joins the team—reckless, arrogant, and undeniably magnetic—that rule is put to the test.

Assigned to his recovery after a career-threatening injury, Skylar finds herself spending long hours with the man she swore to avoid. Under his cocky exterior lies a fighter battling more than just physical wounds. As their fiery clashes give way to an undeniable connection, Skylar must decide if risking her career—and her heart—is worth it. This heartfelt, clean romance proves that some rules are meant to be broken—and love is the toughest game of all.

Just Our Luck

What a sweet, cute romance story of an organic meet-cute. A chance of fate that begins the relationship but does not define it, and this story just seems like such a nice pick-me-up.

Blurb: A lottery ticket, a fake relationship, and a dash of fate—love is the sweetest gamble.

Sybil Sweet isn’t looking for love—just financial stability and maybe a few donuts. But when a late-night bakery run leads to a flirty encounter with Kiran Anderson, a struggling bakery owner, things take an unexpected turn.

To keep up appearances and silence Sybil’s meddling family, they agree to fake a relationship for three months. But when their staged romance starts to feel too real, Sybil and Kiran realize that winning the jackpot is not the end.

In this sizzling fake dating romance, love proves to be the sweetest prize of all.

It’s a friendly enemies-lovers, and they go to Mars (virtually, of course). This seems like such a feel-good story that no one could not pass it up.

Blurb: A fierce vice principal. A guarded science teacher. A summer spent in a Mars simulation. Love wasn’t part of the mission—until it became impossible to ignore.

Brianna Rogers doesn’t back down from a challenge—especially when it comes to fighting for her students. When the school’s library fund is redirected to the football field, she jumps into a high-stakes Mars simulation competition to win the prize money. What she didn’t expect? Roman, the enigmatic science teacher—and son of the very principal she’s up against—joining the team at the last minute.

Ms. Eden Victoria began her career as a BookTok reviewer and has now transformed to an author. Ms. Girl is living out the dreams of a lot of little girls that want to move from reading from authors to becoming one. Not to mention by description alone this book sound amazingly interesting with fake dating trope and royalty. I’m complelty enamored and excited for this work to be published.

The River Has Roots

march new release

I love a good fantasy and if that fantasy has a romance subplot, oh I’m a goner. Real bad! On top of that, there are sisters, so family is a center part of this story meaning there is a rich history surrounding their magic use. This could lead to wonderfully dynamic characters.

Published: March 4, 2025

Blurb: A tale of sisterhood, sacrifice, and the magic that binds them—even beyond death.
In the town of Thistleford, where the river Liss meets the border of Faerie, the Hawthorn family tends to enchanted willows, honoring an ancient pact with their songs of gratitude. Among them, sisters Esther and Ysabel share an unbreakable bond, their voices entwined in devotion to both the trees and each other.

But when Esther spurns a determined suitor for a love beyond the veil of Faerie, their world fractures. Love, betrayal, and otherworldly forces threaten not only the sisters’ bond but their very lives. And in a town where magic hums through the roots of the earth, some ties may be too strong even for death to sever.
A haunting, lyrical fantasy where love defies fate and sisterhood endures beyond the boundaries of life and magic.

Hangry Hearts

march new release

Now, in high school I was not the biggest fan of Romeo and Juliet, however this seems to be a bit more down to earth so I’m willing to see. I’m curious as to how this modernized take can be a bit more relatable and palatable than the classic Romeo and Juliet.

Expected Publish: March 18, 2025

Blurb: A Romeo and Juliet-inspired romance where love, family, and food collide.
Once best friends, Julie Wu and Randall Hur now see each other only at the Pasadena Farmers Market—where their families have been rivals for years.

But when they’re paired with the wealthy and charismatic London Kim for a school project, tensions rise as London develops a crush on Julie. At the same time, Julie and Randall find themselves drawn back to each other.

What starts as awkward group meetings soon turns into secret dates, stolen kisses, and the rekindling of something deeper. But when their grandmothers reignite their long-standing feud, Julie and Randall are caught in the middle, risking their love and the fragile ties between their families. Randall is determined to fight for Julie and for the chance to heal their families’ past wounds.

Hangry Hearts is a heartfelt, humorous romance about first love, family feuds, and the courage to choose both.
